Each item in the Aho Manawa collection has been hand dyed and hand etched using the devore process in Aotearoa New Zealand. Each pieces is a one-off and variations occur in both the dying and devore process. This is part of the beauty of the handmade process.

The designs are derived from indigenous kowhaiwhai patterns depicting whakapapa (genealogy), connection and relationship.
